The ENS de Lyon: a training focused on fundamental sciences
EPFL: a training focused on applied sciences and leading to an engineering degree certified by the French Commission for Engineering degrees.
Both schools have a long tradition of cooperation in the field of research across various disciplines. In July 2012, they signed a framework agreement over a strategic, long-term alliance in training and research.
